July 01, 20261 min read

On 25 June, our partner Felice Meli participated in the EU IP Project Stakeholder Engagement Forum held in Beijing, China. As a speaker on Panel 2, Felice contributed to an in‑depth discussion on “Intellectual Property in the Era of Emerging Technologies: AI, Data and Green Innovation.”

Felice’s intervention focused on practical IP challenges faced by businesses operating in China, including data‑driven innovation, AI‑enabled creativity, and emerging green technologies, as well as the importance of predictable, transparent enforcement for long‑term sustainable growth.

Ferrante Intellectual Property is proud to collaborate with the EU IP Project in China and to contribute to constructive dialogue between the European Union and China on intellectual property policy and practice. Through our ongoing support, we aim to help safeguard the IP rights of European companies, strengthen legal certainty, and foster an environment in which innovation can thrive.

We will continue to assist the EU IP Project by sharing our on‑the‑ground insights, supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives, and promoting effective IP protection and enforcement for European rights holders in China.
